It’s been frustrating trying to get an appointment with Woodhouse and customer service has not been meeting expectation of the cost it takes to attend. We are not asking for free massages but there was nothing being offered for the inconvenience, except offering us to take a reduction of the time from 80 to 50. I was disappointed that after speaking to staff at the location, there was no accommodation being made. I believe altering our schedule, especially for something lengthy should require the same. I understand that life happens to everyone including therapists, but Woodhouse also has a cancellation policy that allows you all to charge clients in the event that we don’t make our appointments either in order to compensate therapists for their time. The next appointment at the location that allows us to go for the time requested is a whole month out from today, which is the wait we already went through for this one. This morning we received a call that we would have to reschedule it due to a therapist being out. It’s gets easily developed.My partner and I had scheduled a 90 minute couples session weeks in advance and were confirmed for this appointment last evening. If you struggle with anxiety or depression, stay away. You easily get blamed or accused of things that aren’t your fault. Schedules appointmentd on your time off and doesn’t get your permission. (Bringing in cookies and pizza for the staff is suppose to smooth that over.) When you bring up an issue you are dealing with, owner/management makes you feel better for the moment, but never does anything to make the situation better for you or anyone else involved. but “we’re all adults” so management doesn’t get involved. The gossiping is out of hand and is very hurtful to one another. If you wanna hear all the deets about how everyone feels about one another, just go in the back room. ugh too bad I have a body & I’m not a machine.) Breaks moved around or never given one at all (Sorry I get hungry sometimes & I have to use the restroom. Doesn’t give enough time in between services or for the actual services. Owner cares more about making money then anything else. When asked to explain error after error you will get the run around over and over without an answer ever. You will not receive all of your tips, commissions, and hourly pay. Answer calls and texts from management at all hours of the night. You are expected to make this job your entire life. NO knowledge of BCE and MN state law.She wanted the Estheticians to wash facial sponges with soap and thought that was disinfecting. She treats her employees like her children. She has NO integrity in her business or her word. Owner promises things and gives them to someone else without communicating. You will be booked with clients before and after your scheduled shift and even your days off without asking or even telling you, yet you are expected to show up. (Oh.but don't worry, management will put in the legal breaks AFTER to cover it up. Front desk will book therapist for 8+ hours with ZERO breaks. Nobody in upper management has any experience in the spa and beauty industry. Owner makes you feel like things will get better and change but they never will.
